Sports Mask Strikes Again

Marouane Chamakh, the Moroccan striker for Crystal Palace, suffered a broken nose during a Saturday game against Everton at the end of January. His manager, Alan Pardew, was quick to notice the impact of the player’s absence after he was taken off and hoped to get him back on the pitch as soon as possible.

At Cavendish Imaging, we were able to take a contactless 3D photo of Chamakh’s facial features and from this create a personalised sports mask. Our masks are created using 3D printing technology and can differ in material and colour. Chamakh’s mask gave him the added protection required for his recent injury and meant he could take his place in the starting line-up for the Newcastle game the following week.
