On Tuesday 12th May Dr Polly Richards will present CBCT Imaging and the Paranasal Sinuses.

Dr Polly Richards is a Consultant Head and Neck and Neuroradiologist at Barts Health NHS Trust. Appointed in 2002, she has almost 18 years experience in ENT and Maxillofacial Imaging and has been reporting Paranasal Sinus CBCT studies for Cavendish Imaging since 2015.

CBCT has become widely used for dental indications but, depending on the field of view may demonstrate sinonasal structures outside the dentomaxillary complex. However CBCT is now also established as a primary imaging modality for the facial bones and paranasal sinuses.

Course Aims

- Common incidental sinonasal findings on dentomaxillary imaging

- Benefits and limitations of CBCT in facial bone and paranasal sinus imaging

- Clinically relevant sinonasal anatomy

- Common facial bone and paranasal sinus pathology
