On Wednesday 5th June, we welcome Dr Richard Horwitz to discuss the topic “Prevention of Implant Failures”

Dr Richard Horwitz (BDS, MClinDent, MFDS RCSEd, MPerio RCSEd, Cert Perio (EFP), FHE Specialist in Periodontics)  qualified as a dentist from the University of Sheffield, and as a Specialist in Periodontics from UCL (Eastman Dental Institute). He was awarded the Certificate in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry from the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP) and is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh for Periodontics

Dr Horwitz lectures both nationally and internationally, spending most of his time in private practice limited to Periodontics and Implant dentistry in London. Specific clinical interests include treatment of gingival recession, implant surgery and the management of peri-implant complications.

Dr Horwitz is the current Treasurer of Alpha Omega London Chapter and President Elect.

“Best cures are prevention” this presentation will discuss the prevention of biological complications around implants and how to detect them.

This session is aimed at Implantologists, Periodontists, Hygienists and anyone with an interest in this subject matter.
