Triny Facing the World

Triny’s rapidly-growing tumour was threatening her sight and her ability to breath.  Facing the World‘s surgeons and Cavendish Imaging acted quickly to help her.

With the support of Cavendish Imaging, the Facing the World medical team were able to use detailed scans to create 3D models identifying all of the tissue affected in Triny’s skull.  This meant that the team could operate to remove this with much greater precision.  On December 15th, 2012 the complex twelve hour operation to remove the tumour took place at the Bupa Cromwell Hospital in Chelsea.

The procedure went very well. and though it is still too soon to tell if Triny will need more operations, she has made a good recovery and hopefully a bright future lies ahead.  Her condition will be closely monitored by the medical team to make sure she continues to thrive.

Cavendish Imaging takes pride in supporting both charities: Saving Faces and Facing the World.
